Atheneum Suites Hotel, this historic facility features twelve meeting
and banquet rooms with the capacity to host meetings & social functions
from 10 to 600 guests for formal dining, and up to 900 guests for cocktail
receptions.
Within walking distance to Comerica Park, Ford Field, Cobo Hall, Compuware,
General Motors Headquarters, and across the street from Greektown Casino
and the People Mover, this is the center for the pulse of the city.
Also located within this same complex is Fishbone's Seafood, Steak and
Sushi restaurant, as well as the renowned tallest
indoor waterfall in the world as listed in the Guinness Book of World
Records.
The jewel of course, is our Grand Ballroom located on the eighth floor
of this historic sight. The architecture of this century old building
features wood and marble pillars, twenty-two foot ceilings with dome skylights,
and a circular balcony with a panoramic view of the city.
This dazzling room is a landmark stage for showers, weddings, proms,
class reunions, charity functions, bar/bat mitzvahs, holiday parties,
and corporate meetings.
