Dear Ms. Gatzaros,
My daughter's wedding was held in your Banquet Center on June 11th. It
is difficult to express how delighted we were, not only the ambiance of
the room, but the efficiency, warmth and personal service you banquet
employees provided our guests. I received countless phone calls complimenting
your staff and the beautiful presentation, generous portions and quality
of all the appetizers, entrees and scrumptious sweet table. My compliments
to Chef!
After I entered the room for dinner following the ceremony, I was immediately
struck by the beauty of the room. True, the florist worked his magic,
but the facility itself was magnificent. My guests remarked how much they
enjoyed watching your staff break down the ceremony site from above and
transform it into a dining venue. They were also impressed by the views
from the windows. Most of them had never been to the Atheneum prior to
that date and were delighted with their experience.
I must also compliment Anne Prokop. She was extremely efficient and helpful
in assisting us with the entire planning process. I bombarded her with
frequent email and she always responded to them in a timely fashion.
She played a major role in making our entire evening a huge success. Anne
went the extra distance for us during our rehearsal for the ceremony,
sharing her valuable experience, advice and guiding us every step of the
way. The day of the wedding she personally assisted several of my elderly
guests and ensured that they were given the attention they required. In
every way, Anne proved to be an invaluable factor in making my daughter's
wedding a once-in-a-lifetime event.
Please express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Banquet Floor
Manager and his entire staff. I have never received such efficient and
unobtrusive service anywhere in the city. Every server was polite and
well spoken, as well as attentive. I have only experienced this level
of service in gourmet five-star restaurants, never at a catered affair.
Again, kudos to your entire staff.
Our weekend
couldn't have been any more perfect. that included the delightful brunch
at Fishbone's the following morning. Again, Anne added her personal touch
and arranged to have flowers from the wedding refrigerated, then placed
on each guest table that Sunday morning. We concluded our weekend with
a lovely brunch, highlighted by delicious cuisine and superb service.
We have several friends who are now seriously considering using your
venue as the site for their upcoming celebration.
