"Sophie, Derrick, our Top Chef and the Best Baker ever -

Thank you so much for such a fabulous event!! We are still receiving complements on the dinner, drinks the wedding cake (along with amazing desserts) and the venue.

Top Chef - I had the beef and just loved it! I received compliments on the chicken choice as well, and raves about the vegetarian dish (echoes of "Thank God no pasta" were heard!). Oh, and I am copying your salad for dinner - so much flavor with so few ingredients!

Best Baker - The cake looked perfect. Many comments on the skyline and its flavor - and many many thanks for boxing the top (forgot about that!!). Oh, and the dessert table --it was simply stunning. For me, the pecan tart was the best! So rich, but oh, so so good.

Derrick - Your staff was amazing. Friends told me how quick and unobtrusive the meal service before and clearing the food dishes after was. Putting on such an event is challenging for all, but you still have to deal with the people. Your patience was so appreciated and it was a wonderful, wonderful job. And of course, the premium bar was a hit, as you can probably tell by the empty bottles!

And Miss Sophie - I don't know what to say. In retrospect, I think of all of the details to which we tended, and how overwhelming that was, but it would have been a hundred times more difficult had you not been there - and been you. You are so nice, so relaxed, and just simply a joy to work with.

So many commented on the ballroom, and while a few had been to weddings there, most had not. The balcony was a hit (views especially), loved the ceremony and dinner in one place and could not believe how fast you transformed the main floor!! Most of all, though, they were simply amazed that this venue even existed.

An ordinary "thanks" would not do for this. For such a great marriage "Made in Detroit", we wanted to continue the theme to the end. We hope you enjoy. Our many many many thanks"
